Here is the Pre picture of my shackles. I already had the insert in the frame for them, but on the drivers side the headers from the original 6 cylinder was in the way of the shackle bolt. Once I had the V8 installed into it, that gave me room for the bolt. |

Here is the new position of the shackle. There is no weight on the spring right now, that is why it is in a vertical position. |

Here you can see the extra long shackles that I used to keep the vehicle level. Now that I have the shackles in the right position, the back of the cruiser is lower than the front. I have already talked to the company that built my rear springs for me and they said it would cost about $60 to get the rear springs arched enough to level out the cruiser. |

This is the new position of the shackle bolt. I just drilled it to a span of 5". This gives me a better length of shackle. |

| This is the new position of the rear. Once I get the rear springs arched more, the shackle level will be where it is supose to be. I will try to see what the flex is now that the shackles are where they are supose to be. |
